MPB-02 Introduction <MPB-02 Introduction Video>
MPB-02 is the first product of MPB series. With 4.6AH capacity, it can provide 12V - 240A (more than 3,000W 10 seconds) maximum output. Most 4.0L gasoline engine vehicles can be enhanced started. The dimension is 190 × 90 × 135mm and only 1.2kg in weight. It can provide 12V-240A maximum output in 10 seconds (equaled to 3,000W based on 13.2V) as the traditional 25~30AH lead-acid battery. The continuous current output is 140A(1,800W). MPB-02 is designed for medium displacement ,gasoline engine. For example, BMW 520, Ford Kuga, M-Benz E280, SAAB 95 2.0 Turbo, Suzuki JP 2.4, Toyota RAV4 ...etc. If the original battery keeps as 10% capacity but can not start the engine. It can be used to enhanced start your vehicle. MPB-02 has 6 modes (2.5W/ 1.25W/ 0.5W continuous / fast/ slow/ SOS flashing) lighting output. It can be used lasted more than 24 hours at the medium-power lighting output. 12V cigar socket output is protected by MCU inside and limited by 20A fuse. The most powerful output is the 12V large current output system For large current system, totally protective designation is one of the main features of MPB series products. Short circuit, wrong connection, high temperature, high voltage, and low voltage protection, all of the protective functions make this product more safety and reliable. Another main feature of MPB series product is the charging ways. You can use the traditional adaptor to charge it in 90~120 minutes; use the twin-cigar-plugs cable by the car's cigar socket, or quickly recharge it by the large current socket in 5 minutes (recharge to 85% capacity). All MPB Series products made by LiFePO4 battery cells. Because of the characteristics of the battery cells, even the 12V system is discharged to under 3Volt, still you can recharge it again and it almost didn't hurt (maintenance free). And another feature is the super low self-discharge loss, you can put it there and do nothing more than 6 months, the voltage of this product could still keep at more than 13.3 volt (>60% capacity. super low self-discharge). Remember, each time you use it to jump start your engine, after the engine starts, keep it connect to the poles more 30~60 seconds. The generator of your vehicle will recharge it back. So, you do not have to take it home and charge it. List below shows which gasoline-engine vehicle you can start directly (We had tested without the original lead-acid battery). Sometimes, the positions of rest pistons will effect the cranking current. Generally speaking, for 5.0L gasoline engine, use MPB-02 to enhanced start the engine is enough. As for diesel engine, it can provide almost 50%~80% of the total cranking current to enhanced start the engine, for example, VW Golf 2.0 TDI/ AUDI Q7 3.0TDI/ AUDI 2.0TDI, except for the cold weather. Table below shows the self-discharge of MPB-02 from 2013.08.22 to 2014.05.12 At the first day, MPB-02 was charged to 14.5V by the adapter (automatic cut-off). After 264 days later, the voltage of MPB-02 drops down to 13.74V. The self-discharge ratio of the past 264 days is calculated as: (14.5-13.74)/14.5 = 5.24% Every time we measured the voltage of MPB-02 (the same one) by the same multimeter: KILTER 767.
